Logan - Merry Christmas to you, too.

Steven Kilpatrick - I apologize for "stealing" your book two years ago. I will gladly buy another copy and mail it to you. What was it? Chuck Paulinick... something... Leave another note with your address and whatever the title of the book was, and I will send one to you. Thanks for being a sport.

And to whoever won't stop text messaging my phone - Congratulations on not being pregnant.

Today I was bored and decided I would check up on old friends by visiting blogs. Steph hasn't updated. Geoff is really the only other blog worth reading. And there I came across a picture of Stephen. It's weird that his picture still makes my heart sink. He hurt me so much. But I've been over it, and him for almost two years now. I'm stronger now, in love again, and still I ache.
Christmas time is coming 'round again, and I have so many people left to buy for. My mom wants a ying-yang necklace that doesn't look cheesy (a hard thing to find). Dad doesn't want anything (again). I took Chris to see the Blind Boys of Alabama, but I need something for him to unwrap. David's getting a bean bag chair that he asked for, but the only one I could find is teeny and covered in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... I might have to keep it. Leonardo is so hot! Steph... I think I know what to get her, but since she's about the only person who occasionally reads this thing, I can't post it.
I'm tired. G'nite.

Gee golly, it's been weeks and weeks since my last post.
As an update, I've been extremely busy working 30+ hours a week, fretting over homework, and following my busy boy.
A few weeks ago we drove up to Wisconsin for his cousin's wedding. How does one (or two) drive eighteen hours non-stop, one might ask? The answer, as any truck-driver will tell you, is Speed, both the prescribed and acceleratory kind. I love the grass up there, very fluffy, thick, and long... I was not carded once, for cigarettes or alcohol, but seemed to stay inebriated through the entire trip. However, I was not the one to make an alcoholic-ass of myself. No, Chris' sister Janine saved me from that horrible fate when she raced through 6 glasses of wine at the reception, then screamed and whooped and trampled a bridesmaid when fighting for the tossed bouquet.
Chris and I are flying to Chicago weekend after next to attend his grandparents' sixtieth wedding anniversary. We have to sleep in separate rooms, although we've been living together since April, so as not to provoke heart attacks from the elderly.
I made a kick-ass guinea pig cage out of modular shelving, coroplast, and astro-turf. Two stories of kick-ass for my wild guinea piggy.

This Christmas, people... think of the children.

I totally can't wait to be a mom.
-------
Just a few reasons I love Chris:
The way we use each other's bodies to stretch
He started a toy box for our future children
We dance while kissing/hugging/talking to each other
He has a collection of hats, but wears the same one every day
He really wants to see Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D... for the glasses, not the storyline
